Finn Delanny

Biography

Finn appears at first glance to be a gorilla of a man, but under his brutish exterior is a sharp incisive mind. Finn is a lifer, someone who now has no other goal than to continue in the military, which is contrasted by his record for the most yo-yo’ing up and down the ranks. A brilliant mind, Finn was actually one of the few people to make it into Referee training, but washed out due to an issue grasping some of the more esoteric aspects of Zen Physics. After settling into the military he developed a reputation as someone who you would want covering your back in the field, a dependable and effective soldier. Unfortunately this is contrasted to his behaviour while not on active deployment. He has no patience for younger officers who think they know better, or pointless procedure and show for the sake of it, causing no end of charges for striking superior officers, or getting into brawls in pubs. He is always busted down in rank, but due to his eventual exemplary performance in the field, he then makes his way back up the ranks.

Initially unsure of Lucas, after their first deployment together that went sideways and they came through, they developed a fast friendship, with the two being able to trust and rely on each other through confusing and stressful situation.
