Referee Corps

The body established in 2492 by the Council of Nations, this body oversee the execution of the Time Wars, and most all issues of time travel. Made up of only those able to score in the top 5% of the S.A.T’s, and who then go through an extensive selection process. All Referees are considered quite brilliant in matters relating to time travel and the Time Wars, all members having had to achieve degrees in Temporal Physics, Trans-historical Adjustment and Maintenance, and Econo-political Management and Arbitration.

Rumors tell that there are no members of the Referee corps that are under the age of one hundred, having taken the time to reach the level of skill and study necessary for the role. Given their status and requirements, the Referee corps members are arguably one of the highest paid positions that one could attain, with status and living conditions akin to heads of state, which as an extra-national group, they do not answer to. They oversee the obtuse and complex Point Spread, the complex algorithm that was created to determine victors and outcomes from the insertion of troops from various national forces, into the wars of Minus Time.
