Temporal Intelligence Agency

Formed out of what was once the Committee for Temporal Intelligence, when most of its Minus Time remit was shifted to the Observer Corps, the TIA soon subsumed the intelligence arms of most of the world powers. The TIA became the intelligence arm of the Referee Corps in Plus Time, coordinating efforts with the Observer Corps in Minus Time. With the division of labor largely being the Observers worked in the field, while the TIA proceeded to become the more espionage focused group, keeping tabs on all the world powers, to maintain both control and oversight of time travel, as well as on fringe groups like the Timekeepers, especially after the bombing and assassinations of 2517. Taken on its face, the Observers took on the practical and everyday duties that involved the execution and running of the Time Wars, while the TIA worked behinds the scenes to identify and try to deal with those criminal and political issues that would arise in this new Temporally active age.
