The Underground

Desertion is something every force always has to deal with in one form or another, and with the advent of technology that allowed for individuals to find themselves almost anywhere throughout Minus Time.Soldiers in the various temporal forces, as well as others, have found themselves sometimes tempted to just stay, to not return to server out their time, and just enjoy the live and environment that they find themselves in.

For the most part these people maintain a low profile, both out of a desire to enjoy their lives, but also with the understanding that if found, they would be in an almost incalculable amount of trouble. The Underground, does try to maintain a loose affiliation and contact with each other, as some individuals manage to not only desert, but do so with a chronoplate, and the ability to move from one time to another, yet another level of freedom. While the are deserters, by and large, these people maintain a level of concern for the timeline that would likely make the Observer corps proud, they recognize by and large that any events that might cause a split in the timeline, would not only likely draw attention to themselves, but also put their existence itself at risk, so they are known to render assistance, or information to Observers encountered in the field, when the situation warrants.
